![]() Elaini's country music journey started just "out of the blue." The first song she ever sang was a broadway show tune for her kindergarten talent show. But, a few weeks later, while shopping with her Grandma, she took notice to a Patsy Cline CD. Down to her last few dollars, her Grandma bought it for her - and a love of country music was born. Before she could read or write, she wrote her first song, asking her Mom and Dad to write it down as she sang it. The "country music bug" grew from there. She has taught herself many instruments including guitar, mandolin, autoharp, and banjo. She is currently teaching herself fiddle and steel. Elaini studies with a vocal teacher and continues to learn more about music everyday. About two years ago, she met Jim McCoy. He has become a very important part of Elaini's life, as a friend and a mentor. It is through his belief in her that she has become a more confident individual, singer, and songwriter. Now, at the age of 14, her musical journey continues with the support and encouragement of her friends and family. She recorded her first country album "From the Heart" in Nashville, Tennessee, and is released on Jim McCoy's Troubadour Records. She is writing new songs and co- writing one with a friend in Nashville for her next album. Elaini has big dreams. She wants to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry, bring her music to a larger audience, and like her main influence into country music, Patsy Cline, she wants to bring people together with her music and create lasting memories.
